A very long time ago when I turned 18, I could legally buy a rifle, a six-pack of beer and a pack of cigarettes. Fast forward to today and someone turning 18 is now prohibited by the government to buy any of those things. To be quite honest, I was buying beer and cigarettes before I was 18 despite the laws that social engineering Republicans and Democrats continue to pass. Of course, 18 to 20-year-old citizens will also continue to find ways to obtain beer and cigarettes, now they will be criminals of the state. I am not buying the argument that President Trump supported and signed legislation outlawing 18 to 20-year old Americans from buying tobacco and because of that the Florida legislature had to follow suit. Medical marijuana is legal in Florida and still prohibited by the federal government. Can we say the 10th Amendment?
For now, 18 to 20 year old Floridians can still vote and maybe they will figure out what I did, that is the Republican Party and the Democrat party are two wings of the big government party and maybe they should vote NPA or third party.
